Getting Your Artwork Digital-Ready

Set your artwork up for success from the start.

In module 1, you’ll learn how to scan or photograph your hand-painted work so it’s clean, clear, and high-quality. We’ll chat about the tools I use (and affordable alternatives), how to prep your artwork for best results, and how to bring your painting from paper into the digital world - the easy, stress-free way.

Cleaning & Editing in Adobe Photoshop

Let’s clean up your art while keeping its soul.

In module 2, I'll show you how to remove the background, enhance colour and contrast, and clean up any marks or paper texture - without losing the heart of your painting. You’ll learn how to isolate your motifs, adjust layers, and get your work looking polished and professional - I'll share all my secrets.

Prepping Your File for Print

This is where we get your artwork product-ready.

In module 3, we cover how to resize your artwork for different applications (from small tags to big prints), and how to format it correctly in both CMYK and RGB. I’ll guide you step-by-step so your file is ready to go — whether you’re working with a local printer or an online POD platform.

Saving, Exporting & File Types

No more file confusion - just clean, clear artwork files.

In module 4, you’ll learn the difference between JPEG, PNG, PSD, and TIFF files (and when to use each), how to export your art in high resolution, and how to store your files in a way that keeps you organised for future printing or client projects.

Using Your Artwork on Products

Now the fun part — seeing your art come to life!

The final module explores the exciting possibilities of what to do next with your art. I’ll walk you through basic mockups, real-world product ideas, and ways to start small (hello art prints!) or think bigger with POD platforms or collaborations.

You’ll leave feeling confident and inspired to get your art out there.
